About Me!

First, no, my name is not Bret Ward.

That is my gamertag, social media name, and game characters.

Long story short, from many years ago, all I knew is that I had to make this name known/feared/loved by the world, and that is exactly what I intend to do......with this channel and the power of kookiness!

A bit of back story for ye. I grew up in Oregon. After college, I moved to Japan. After the first year, I got cancer and had to move back to the states, where I went through chemo and waited until there was another chance to get back to my life in Japan. If you have any questions about that process, ask away, I have no problems talking about that if you are curious.

Three years later, I made my way back to Japan. I lived there for 6 years total, 5 years as an assistant English teacher, then took the prefectural teacher exam, passed, and spent the last year as a full time teacher. After working 7 days a week from 6AM to 8PM, I decided that I didn't want to devote my entire life to work. I moved back to the states in April 2018 to Arkansas, because......many reasons.

After working like crazy, it was decided I would take a couple months off. As a kind of art/performance project, I started broadcasting on twitch. I really love it. So, here we are! I am really enjoying this and love playing games, especially while chatting with you, or playing with you online.

I have many ideas for fun gaming events, but if you ever want to play games together, just say so, and most likely, I would love to play with you. Thank you so much for watching, chatting, and/or playing. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do!

Stream Schedule!

-All times are PST or Pacific Time in the USA.
-Due to my part-time job, schedule is subject to change, but I will try to keep to it as best as possible.

For now, unless there is a special event, my schedule is:

Monday: 5PM-10AM

Wednesday: 5PM-10AM

Friday: 5PM-10AM

Saturday: 5PM-10AM



For the most part, the streams are kind of random, and the definition of variety, but here is an idea of what is attempted during these times!

Monday: Miscellaneous! Whatever I might be into at the moment, or maybe a game gifted by the community!

Wednesday: A game chosen by a wheel that has random Xbox One games. Lets try a ton out!

Friday: Same as Monday (Some Fridays will be DND sessions, dates TBD)

Saturday: Community Night! People from the community make suggestions in the Discord channel #community-plays-days on what should be played, and then we play what was chosen!


Here is a list of random events that happen.....randomly!

-Last Week of the Month: Extra Life Streams!

-24 hour sub goal streams (includes game giveaways and lots of random kookiness)!

-Character Theme Streams from Extra Life goals!

-Hurtmore Barnacles Streams! (Hurtmore Barnacles is the team including myself and the streamer Nawaria)

-Dual Streams with streamers from "The Chilliance" or other cool peoples!

Stream Rules!

Here are the general rules for this channel:

-Good spirited good humored chat is my favorite.

-Racism/Sexism/Homophobia or other hurtful things are not welcome.

-The occasional ribbing is fun as long as it is full of good intentions.

-Try to keep things PG so that everyone can enjoy, but every once in a while, it is ok to go above the PG barrier. (Especially when we are playing Jackbox. Think "Cards Against Huminity" and that is usually how that goes.)

-Cursing might happen, but I rarely do so. I will try to keep it to a minimum.

-People I play with online, or in the chat might curse a lot. I never know for sure, but I usually am ok with other people doing it so just know it might happen.
